View compare365-Day Exchange & Upgrade Programme
At Usedon (usedon.in), we believe in providing long-term value, flexibility, and technological agility. Our 365-Day Exchange & Upgrade Programme enables customers to trade in their previously purchased computing hardware within a full calendar year to step up to higher specifications as their work or study requirements grow.
1. Programme Overview & Eligibility Window
-
365-Day Window: Customers who purchase eligible laptops, desktops, mini PCs, workstations, or servers directly from
usedon.incan apply for an exchange or hardware upgrade anytime within 365 days from the original delivery date. -
Not a Direct Refund: This programme operates strictly as an equipment upgrade and exchange credit facility; it does not constitute an open-ended, cash-back, or no-questions-asked monetary refund.
2. Trade-in Valuation & Credit Structure
-
Standard 20% Depreciation: Provided the unit satisfies the baseline operational conditions below, the trade-in valuation is calculated at the original purchase invoice value (excluding initial shipping fees or one-time convenience charges) minus a fixed 20% annual depreciation.
-
Store Upgrade Credit: The remaining 80% residual value is credited directly toward the purchase of an eligible, higher-value machine, server, or configuration listed on
usedon.in. -
Price Differential: The customer settles the price difference between the credited exchange value and the selling price of the upgraded system during checkout or invoice generation.
-
Credit Non-Transferability: Exchange credit is tied to the original purchasing customer account/GSTIN and cannot be transferred, encashed, or redeemed against third-party accessories alone.
3. Qualifying Hardware Conditions & Intake QC
To qualify for full 80% valuation credit, the returned system must pass an intake hardware inspection:
-
Mandatory Invoicing: The customer must present the original Usedon tax invoice matching the unit's serial number/service tag.
-
Operational Integrity: The machine must power on normally, boot into the operating system without board-level panic, and retain functional primary subsystems (motherboard, display panel, CPU, and memory).
-
Included OEM Accessories: The original power adapter, charging cords, and bundled proprietary peripherals provided at the time of sale must be returned intact. Missing power bricks or cords will incur a replacement fee deduction from the final exchange value.
-
Warranty Void Stickers: Chassis serial numbers and Usedon internal warranty markers must not be destroyed, peeled, or intentionally defaced.
4. Valuation Adjustments & Ineligibility
Usedon reserves the right to apply secondary deductions or disqualify a system from the programme under the following circumstances:
-
Physical Trauma / Accidental Damage: Systems exhibiting broken chassis plastics, deep casing dents, cracked screen panels, damaged hinges, or missing keys will be assessed on a repair-cost deduction basis or declared ineligible.
-
Liquid Ingress & Burnt Components: Units with signs of liquid spills, motherboard corrosion, third-party component soldering, or high-voltage circuit burns are strictly ineligible.
-
Missing Components: Machines returned with missing internal storage, removed RAM modules, or stripped OEM daughterboards will be rejected or re-evaluated solely for salvage value.
5. Fulfillment & Inventory Availability
-
Catalog Availability: All upgrades are subject to active inventory availability on
usedon.inat the time the exchange claim is authorized. -
Logistics & Handover: Reverse courier pickup or walk-in inspection at our Nehru Place tech center can be scheduled upon ticket approval[cite: 1, 6, 7]. Ownership of the trade-in unit transfers permanently to Usedon once the intake inspection is signed off and the upgraded replacement order is dispatched.
