At UC we take pride in offering high-quality refurbished products that meet rigorous standards. This warranty policy outlines the coverage, limitations, and terms for refurbished devices and accessories purchased directly from UC.
Important:
This warranty applies only to items bought through UC official website or physical Office. Purchases made via third-party marketplaces are subject to the warranty and return policies of those platforms.
Warranty Duration
Standard Coverage
· Non-Apple Products: 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.
· Apple Products: 6-month warranty from the date of purchase.
Extended Coverage
· Customers can opt for an extended warranty of up to 2 years. This adds to the standard coverage and extends the total protection period.
What’s Covered
UC guarantees that refurbished products and accessories are free from defects in materials and workmanship when used according to official guidelines.
Covered Hardware Components
· Display screen
· Motherboard
· Keyboard
· Hard drive & RAM
· Branded accessories included in original packaging (6-month warranty)
UC will repair or replace defective hardware components during the warranty period if issues arise from manufacturing flaws or normal usage.
❌ What’s Not Covered
Third-Party Items
· Accessories or components not originally packaged with the product—even if purchased from.
Software
· Operating systems, applications, and other software are excluded. Refer to the software’s licensing agreement for support and rights.
General Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
· Consumables like batteries (unless defective)
· Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.)
· Damage from third-party components or accessories
· External damage (accidents, spills, fire, etc.)
· Misuse or operation outside UC guidelines
· Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
· Normal wear and tear.
· Products with missing or tampered serial numbers.
· Devices reported stolen or locked due to security features without proof of ownership.
Customer Responsibilities & Warranty Terms
Data Backup
If your refurbished product stores data or software, it’s your responsibility to regularly back up your information. UC is not liable for any data loss during repair, replacement, or other warranty services.
Proof of Purchase
To access warranty service, you may be asked to:
· Provide a valid proof of purchase
· Answer diagnostic questions
· Follow troubleshooting steps as guided by UC support
How to Request Warranty Service
1. Contact Support
Start by reaching out through the Contact Us page. Share a detailed description of the issue along with your purchase proof.
2. Remote Resolution
Our team will attempt to resolve the issue remotely within 24 to 48 hours, guiding you through diagnostics or troubleshooting.
3. On-Site Visit
If remote support doesn’t resolve the issue, a technician may visit your location for further inspection.
4. Service Center Inspection
If needed, UC may arrange pickup or request you to send the product to our service facility for in-depth evaluation and repair.
5. Replacement
If the issue remains unresolved after inspection, UC may replace the product with one of equivalent value and specifications.
6. Refunds
Refunds, if applicable, will be issued to your original payment method, factoring in depreciation as outlined in the return process.

· Covered Shipping: If the issue falls under warranty, UC will cover shipping costs to and from the service center.
· Customer Responsibility: If the issue is not covered, you may be responsible for shipping fees.
· Packaging: Ensure secure packaging when returning products. UC is not liable for damage caused by improper packaging during transit.

Operation & Software
· UC does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
· Software issues, user errors, and non-hardware problems are not covered.
Damages
UC is not liable for:
· Loss of data, revenue, profits, savings, business, or reputation
· Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
· Warranty decisions made by UC are final and binding
Policy Updates & Conditions
Changes to Policy
UC reserves the right to update this warranty policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Customers are encouraged to review the policy periodically.
Service Availability
Warranty service depends on part availability and service center capabilities. Some models may require extra time for repairs due to sourcing needs.
Force Majeure
UC is not responsible for delays or inability to fulfill warranty obligations due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, war, pandemics, or supply chain disruptions.
Warranty Transfer & Conduct
Non-Transferable
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Reselling or transferring the product voids the warranty.
Respectful Conduct
Customers are expected to treat UC staff with courtesy. Abusive behaviour may result in limited support.
If you experience inappropriate conduct from staff, report it to cs@newjaisa.com. All reports are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.
